The official website for the television anime of Hitsuji Yamada’s The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today manga began streaming the second promotional video for the show on Monday.
The site also revealed that somei will perform the show’s opening theme song “Ureu Kado niwa Fuku Kitaru” (Fortune Comes to a Worried House).
The anime will premiere on July 7 and will air on MBS and TBS’ “Animeism” programming block.
The anime stars:
- Hiroki Yasumoto as the cat Yukichi
- Yui Ishikawa as the office worker Saku Fukuzawa
- Ai Kakuma as Yuri Shibasaki
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Kaoru Orizuka
- M.A.O as Rio Nishina
- Miyu Irino as Tenchō (Shop Manager)
- Ayana Taketatsu as Yume
- Yōko Hikasa as Yume’s Mother
- Tamie Kubota as Yume’s Grandmother
- Satomi Satou as Saku’s Mother
- Jun Fukuyama as Saku’s Father
- Aoi Inase as Oshiro
- Kotoe Taichi as Mei the Next Door Neighbor
Susumu Kudo (K, Coppelion) is credited as chief director, while Katsumasa Yokomine (episode director on Coppelion, Hand Shakers, W’z) is directing at GoHands.
